AS A GUIDE TO SHOW YOU WHAT OTHER PEOPLE HAVE BEEN ABLE TO SELL OR
BUY A SLED FOR ON EBAY.

WAY UP OVER THE TRUE VALUE BECAUSE THEY BOTH WANT IT AND THEN
SOMETIMES A SLED CAN SELL ON EBAY FOR A LOT LESS THAN TRUE VALUE BECAUSE
OF THE TIME OF YEAR IT WAS POSTED OR THE WAY THE PERSON POSTED THE AD.

1980 Ski Doo Elite Vintage Snowmobile

1980 Ski-doo Elite. This is a beautiful vintage/classic snowmobile!
Only 797 miles! It has not been restored and does not need to be restored.
Show it and win, or ride it and have fun with your family. I recently purchased
this snowmobile to play with the family at the cottage but after I bought it and
washed it, I realized it is to nice for my kids and buddy's to abuse. 

Orginally the it was purchased in Montana (still have some records), then
someone bought it in SE michigan (I have records). They drove it for a few
years and then parked in the barn. The last trail permit is from 2001. 

After I purchased it I removed the gas tank and old fuel, put a new filter and
gas lines on it, cleaned the carb, new battery, new plugs (still have originals),
check all fluids & chaincase, greased it, primed it and it fired right up. 

Runs perfect!! Speedo works, shifts nicely into reverse, I did not try the
lighter.. Wear rods and hyfax are like new, tracks are good, lights and gauges
work. The only is flaw is a small dent on the drivers side rear part of belly pan.

Not a big deal, a little character. The paint, body and interior are in outstanding
condition! I had to replace one of the rear suspension springs which was not
fun... I have not painted anything, just soap, little wax and armor all. 

It does have a custom cover in ok condition.
