WAY UP OVER THE TRUE VALUE BECAUSE THEY BOTH WANT IT AND THEN
SOMETIMES A SLED CAN SELL ON EBAY FOR A LOT LESS THAN TRUE VALUE BECAUSE
OF THE TIME OF YEAR IT WAS POSTED OR THE WAY THE PERSON POSTED THE AD.

1979 Yamaha Excel V 

 I am selling my 1979 Yamaha Excel V snowmobile that has ONLY 259 ACTUAL miles on it. I bought this sled from a friend of mine when it had less than 200 miles on it. I only drove it around in our pasture a few times in the past 5 years and circumstances say that it is time for it to go. Except for a small (approx 1") scratch on the "trunk" (see photo) I cannot find any other marks on it. It is ALL ORIGINAL except for the Battery which is new this year. I put a gel cell in place of the acid battery.Electric start and runs like new, basically it is hardly broken in. I have only used Yamaha lube and IT IS OIL INJECTED. I have the original owner's manual and the safety manual that came with it. I have all of the original dealer provided accessories like the original sparkplugs, spare belt and tool kit. This sled has never spent a night outside and has always had a cover on it. I tried to get a close up of the track and you can see the nubs are still on the track. It has a factory hitch for towing although I have never used it.
