RESTORING THE SPORT ONE PIECE AT A TIME. WHAT IS YOUR SLED WORTH? PAGE 278 |
THE WORTH OF A SLED DEPENDS ON MANY FACTORS SUCH AS --- APPEARANCE - CONDITION - MILEAGE - ACCIDENTED - IS THE MOTOR STUCK - TRACK CONDITION - RARE MODEL - STORED OUTSIDE / INSIDE - ORIGINAL - HAVING TRANSFER PAPERS AND SO ON. I CREATED THESE
PAGES TO GIVE BUYERS AND SELLERS A LOOK
THIS IS NOT TO
BE USED AS AN ACCURATE PRICE LIST OF A SLEDS WORTH BUT
JUST REMEMBER
- SOMETIMES ON EBAY - 2 BIDDERS DRIVE A SLED'S PRICE
THIS GUIDE IS
IN NO WAY INTENDED TO TELL YOU THE WORTH OF A SLED.
I DO NOT TAKE
RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE YEAR POSTED WITH THE SNOWMOBILE.

HERE IS HOW THIS AD READ ON EBAY. Offered for sale is a RARE 1978 Moto Ski Sonic 340. I believe only 450 of this model snowmobile were made. Air cooled Twin Cylinder 340cc engine, twin pipes and twin carbs, This is one fast sled, Tunnel is aluminum hood and belly pan are fiberglass, Very light sled, miles are unknown since sled only came with a tach. This is a true barn find sled I purchased this from a gentleman that had it since 1983 it was on dollies in his garage(clean and dry) since 1988. This sled is as original unrestored as your going to find. I have not tried to get this running I believe the gas was drained when it was put in storage. The engine does turn over and it does have spark. Condition Missing Tail light lens, missing handle bars pad, rear snow flap is ripped, Sled looks complete besides these items, This is sold as is not running. Included are original manuals one is for a Ski-Doo RV340 this is the same sled as an RV 340. Ended:
