AS A GUIDE TO SHOW YOU WHAT OTHER PEOPLE HAVE BEEN ABLE TO SELL OR
BUY A SLED FOR ON EBAY.

WAY UP OVER THE TRUE VALUE BECAUSE THEY BOTH WANT IT AND THEN
SOMETIMES A SLED CAN SELL ON EBAY FOR A LOT LESS THAN TRUE VALUE BECAUSE
OF THE TIME OF YEAR IT WAS POSTED OR THE WAY THE PERSON POSTED THE AD.

HERE IS HOW THIS AD READ ON EBAY.

     The Sno Ghia snowmobile was manufactured from 1967 through 1970 in
Turin (Torino), Italy by Iso Rivolta for Ghia Spa, a subsidiary of DeTomaso.
The Sno Ghia was touted as the “low-profile” snowmobile offering the
advantages of better vision and a low center of gravity for better tracking.
They were distributed in the USA by Ghia-US, Oceanport, New Jersey, and in
Canada by Moleba Autoneige, Ltd. for the 1969 model year only. 
They were powered by a 297cc Sachs engine. 
This Sno Ghia was found in good condition with modifications that were
common to these once imported. The hood didn't have many openings for
airflow, so it was common to cut a hole in the top of the hood and install
louvers. The louvers have been removed and the hole repaired with
fiberglass. The opening for the recoil had been enlarged and another hole
cut on the opposite side, by your left knee. I had s.s. plates with air slots
made to cover these holes and allow for more airflow than stock. I updated
the headlight lamp socket and bulbs. The originals were unrepairable. Mods
done to the suspension were removed and returned to original design. 
The original motor mount must have been weak, so a re-enforcement was
added. The seat has been professionally recovered. Handlebars and rear
lift/handles have been re-chromed. The track, engine, exhaust, bogies, 
even the belt are original. Runs perfect.
Flaws: The brake lever has a crack, repaired with JB weld. 
Still trying to locate a replacement. The grill housing has some hairline
cracks in one corner not showing in the pictures. They developed when
running engine. Rare sled, there weren't many of these around.
Only imported one year. With origninal owners manual. 
Would look great in your collection!
