AT SLEDS THAT HAVE RECENTLY SOLD ON EBAY WITH THEIR DESCRIPTION. 

THIS IS NOT TO BE USED AS AN ACCURATE PRICE LIST OF A SLEDS WORTH BUT
AS A GUIDE TO SHOW YOU WHAT OTHER PEOPLE HAVE BEEN ABLE TO SELL OR
BUY A SLED FOR ON EBAY.

JUST REMEMBER - SOMETIMES ON EBAY - 2 BIDDERS DRIVE A SLED'S PRICE
WAY UP OVER THE TRUE VALUE BECAUSE THEY BOTH WANT IT AND THEN
SOMETIMES A SLED CAN SELL ON EBAY FOR A LOT LESS THAN TRUE VALUE BECAUSE
OF THE TIME OF YEAR IT WAS POSTED OR THE WAY THE PERSON POSTED THE AD.

THIS GUIDE IS IN NO WAY INTENDED TO TELL YOU THE WORTH OF A SLED.
 AFTER ALL  A SLED IS WORTH ONLY WHAT THE BUYER IS WILLING TO PAY FOR IT.
I AM POSTING THIS GUIDE AS A SERVICE AND NOTHING ELSE.

HERE IS HOW THIS AD READ ON EBAY.

I bought this 1969 A.C. Panther from the original owner approximately
20 years ago. The sled has all of its original components and the majority of
them are still in original condition. I have done nothing to the 12 h.p., 4 stroke
Kohler motor except to install new points, condenser, spark plug and carb kit
when I first bought the sled. I have not started the machine in about 8 years,
but it was running fine last time I ran it. The snowmobile hood, decals, blue
windshield, leopard seat, bumper and track are all in very nice original
condition. The belly pan and tunnel are in very good condition as well. 
I did remove the gas tank to have it professionally painted and also to have
the inside of the tank coated to prevent rust. I removed the under carriage as
well to paint it and install new sliders. I also installed new drive sprockets for
the track. I painted the skis and also touched up the dash board. But that's
about it. I polish and shine her up occasionally to keep her looking great!
Please note in the last photo that there is a 2" x 1/2" piece of electrical tape
on the hood next to the louver. The original owner put that on there a 
long time ago and I have never removed it. I have no idea what it is
covering, but I do know that it is not a hole or crack that goes thru the
hood as nothing is visible on the inside of the hood. I left it there because
it does not take anything away from the beauty of the hood and I also
thought it added a little character showing how things were often
fixed on these old sleds back in the day!
