AS A GUIDE TO SHOW YOU WHAT OTHER PEOPLE HAVE BEEN ABLE TO SELL OR
BUY A SLED FOR ON EBAY.

JUST REMEMBER - SOMETIMES ON EBAY - 2 BIDDERS DRIVE A SLED'S PRICE
WAY UP OVER THE TRUE VALUE BECAUSE THEY BOTH WANT IT AND THEN
SOMETIMES A SLED CAN SELL ON EBAY FOR A LOT LESS THAN TRUE VALUE BECAUSE
OF THE TIME OF YEAR IT WAS POSTED OR THE WAY THE PERSON POSTED THE AD.

 AFTER ALL  A SLED IS WORTH ONLY WHAT THE BUYER IS WILLING TO PAY FOR IT.

HERE IS HOW THIS AD READ ON EBAY.

     Vintage Sled Gurus....  I am selling a rare Mansfield, Ohio built and raced,
440 Speedway race sled.  Stored indoors for the last 15+ years, waiting for me
to finish her up.  I hate to see it go because it is the first thing people run to
when they come into our Hot Rod restoration shop.  It has a race built motor,
built by legendary machinist, Brad Snyder.

I bought it from him so he had cash to upgrade his Bridgeport mill to CNC.
Has a solid pan and the ski's look great.  Needs upgraded drive gears and
possibly rollers etc. Track looks decent, but most guys upgrade them to suit
their needs. Seat needs some snap repair etc.  Fuel tank has a small patch.
I am not a sled expert but some great guys tell me it's a 73 but I am not 
sure so I posted a pic of the serial number on the pan for your reference.
I have quite a few Speedway and other make extra parts for you to sort thru 
when you come to pick it up that are for sale too.

On May-06-16 at 08:33:43 PDT, seller added the following information:
The engine is a rare find. It is Spec. No. 11 70 08 which puts it as a
factory mod engine. Kohler opened up the intake and port. 
The standard Kohler 440 ss engines were spec no 11 70 01 to 11 70 04.
